Welcome to Year 4, we’re so excited to be part of your child’s learning this year.

Miss Chivers will be teaching in Kingfisher Class and Miss Fleming will teach Heron Class.  Our wonderful teaching assistants, Mrs Priest and Ms Mott will be supporting us across the cohort.  Also, Miss Eastman and Mrs Smith will be covering PPA time.

We have lots of exciting enquiries planned this year with planned visits and visitors to enhance the learning too. In addition, we will enjoy a residential visit later in the year.

Term 2 - Why do we live here?

Term 3 - What is creativity? How can we switch off?

Term 4 - Who has stood here before us?

Term 5 – What is sound?

Term 6 – How can we protect our oceans? Where does our water come from?

These enquiries will form the basis of much of our foundation subject learning throughout the year, where we will be Geographers, Historians, Scientists, Engineers, Musicians, Athletes, Artists, Philosophers, Digital Engineers, Linguists and many others.
