Welcome to Year 4, we’re so excited to be part of your child’s learning this year.

Miss Fleming will be teaching in Kingfisher Class and Miss Chivers will teach Heron.  Our wonderful teaching assistant, Miss Eastman, will be supporting us across the cohort.  Also, Mrs Nolan, Mrs Hutton and Mrs Smith will be covering PPA time.

We have lots of exciting enquiries planned this year with lots of planned visits and visitors. As well as go on a residential visit.

These enquiries will form the basis of much of our foundation subject learning throughout the year (history, geography, DT, art and music) while we will continue to follow the Discovery RE scheme and Jigsaw for PSHE.  Our Authors lessons (reading and writing) will take inspiration from our enquiries too. Finally, we hope your child has a wonderful time in Year 4.
